Keto Chocolate balls – Fat Bomb!!!

12 februari, 2018 by lannyleifsson Leave a Comment

Hi apakabar??

I have been in keto for quite sometime now. I’ve probably lost many kilos that I don’t need ha ha ha.. Eating with keto method means you really need to plan your food. I’m use to it tho’ but I am even more cautious now about what I am putting in my cooking, so I could stick into my total carbs allowed. As you have probably heard, in keto you will only counting carbs, and no sugar! But let’s be honset, even though I’m not one of those sweet tooth, I do have craving from time to time for some oh so bloody good treats, in other words: sweets!

I decided to make some keto chocolate balls. I searched for lots of recipes and as usual, they give me headaches ha ha ha.. So I sort of combine few different recipes out there into my version. If you think these won’t taste great…you are wrong! Fudge!! they were so tasty. My sons, who are the true chocolate monster and had no idea what I had in those balls, they ate them too and said ” oh my goodness, they are so tasty and melting in my mouth!!” Well, even though I was happy to hear that, I gotta do what I had to do: SAVE THOSE BALLS FROM THEM!!!!  ha ha ha… they were mine!!

anyway, here it is. let me know if you have something you are wondering about.

KETO CHOCHOLATE BALLS- the real fat bomb!

total carbs app. 48grams for 20 balls

Ingredients:

100gr grass-fed butter (room’s temperature) –** if you’d prefer the RAW balls, please use coconut butter instead.
2-3 tbs dark cocoa powder (hey, it wouldn’t hurt if you get some fine cocoa)
30 grams raisins or dates – chunks  (bare in mind that they have sugar and is high in carbs per 100grams. so 30 grams giving you about 26grams of carbs).
a pinch of sea salt flakes
200 + 50 grams of coconut flakes
2 tbs stevia (you can reduce if you’d like too)

How to:

  1. In a food processer, mix 200gr of coconut flakes with stevia, cocoa, and salt until you get slightly powder consistent.
  2. Pour the dry ingredients in a kitchen bowl.
  3. Using your hands, add up butter and raisins/dates into the dry ingredients and blend everything well.
  4. form into 20 small chocolate balls.
  5. pour 50gr of coconut flakes on a plate and roll those chocolate balls until they’re well covered.
  6. Chill for 1 hours (this is only if you can wait, otherwise..munch directly ha ha ha)

Happy eating everyone, or as we would say Selamat makan!
