fredagsmys means CHIPS!! I mean wattaheck?? can you imagine my sons are turning into those tiny little chatty birds, asking for chips for their fredagsmys?? I’ve so far tried to made various kinds of homemade chips to fulfill their wish. But this far, chips(or the English peeps would call it crisps) I’ve made are not too friendly for my diet. I’ve got to come up with something new he he he..
I myself love kale so much, so I chose to make kale chips for our fredagsmys instead. A really huge bowl and half of it went into my sons tummy!! yay!! tap tap my shoulders!!
PARMEGIANO KALE SNACK
almost no carbs – serves 4
500gr Kale (Swedish: grönkål)
EVOO (Extra virgin olive oil)
sea salt flakes
pepper (chili powder if you’d prefer the spicy chips)
app. 1 cup of Parmegiano (parmesan)
preheat oven to 180 C
wash kale carefully and pat dry (don’t worry about drying them vigorously)3. tear off the leaves from the stalk (No, don’t throw the stalk away as you can actually cook them)
4. place them on your kitchen bowl or cooking tray. Curl the oil over the leaves and mix them well by using your hands. Make sure the oil is well spread.
5. sprinkle salt, pepper, and lastly parmigiano.
6. place them on a parchment paper and bake for app.1 hour. stir every now and then so everything will be baked completely.
